Dr. Fauci calls military veteran, fellow doctor, and Senator a ‘moron’ on hot mic

During the Senate hearings, Dr. Fauci was questioned by Republican Senator Roger Marshall about his financial disclosures, and after a heated exchange, Fauci audibly muttered that Marshall was a “moron.”

“What a moron. Jesus Christ,” Fauci said, visibly agitated upon being questioned about the availability of his financial records.

“My financial disclosures are public knowledge, and have been so,” he said. “You are getting amazingly wrong information,” he accused Senator Marshall.

“I cannot find them,” Marshall stated.

“What are you talking about?” Fauci interrupted, clearly irritated.

“Our office cannot find them,” Marshall continued. “Where would they be if they’re public knowledge? Where?”

“It is totally accessible to you if you want it,” Fauci responded without answering Marshall’s question.

“For the public, is it accessible to the public?” Marshall pushed.

“To the public. To the public,” Fauci snapped at the Kansas Senator. “You are totally incorrect.”

After the moderator interrupted the exchange, Fauci publicly insulted Senator Marshall by calling him a moron.

“Dr Fauci is a complete disgrace! He thinks he is GOD! Sick individual. Don’t forget he is in charge of the torture of the little puppies (beagle experiments) and gain of function research. Completely evil person!” one person tweeted in response to the footage.

“When angry, count to ten before you speak; if very angry, 100.” (yes, I’m on a Jefferson kick) Fauci’s true colors came shining through today. He’s an amateur. A coddled little bureaucrat who loses his cool if anyone dares question his motivations,” opined another.

Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Biden’s top health advisor, has been on the defensive a lot during the Senate hearings, including earlier in the day during an exchange with Senator Rand Paul (R-KY). During the exchange, Fauci, seething, accused Paul of fueling threats against himself and his family.

Fauci also accused Paul of claiming he was “responsible for the death of 4 to 5 million people, which is really irresponsible.”

“What happens when he gets out and accuses me of things that are completely untrue,” Fauci said, “is that kindles the crazies out there, and I have threats upon my life, harassment of my family and my children with obscene phone calls because people are lying about me.”

Paul asked the White House Chief Medical Officer why he would “claim unilaterally” that any criticism of him is a “criticism of science itself,” and labeled Fauci’s rhetoric “quite dangerous.”

“This Overpaid Monster thinks he’s God! #FireFauci,” someone tweeted.

“A planner who believes he is the science leads to an arrogance that justifies in his mind using government resources to smear and to destroy the reputations of other scientists who disagree with them,” declared Paul.

“This is not only antithetical to the scientific method, it’s cheap politics and it’s reprehensible,” Paul said.

Senator Marshall later released a statement on the day’s events: “I understand that Anthony Fauci had a very frustrating day: having a bombshell report show he in fact did award U.S. tax dollars for gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and being called out about his personal financial disclosure during the COVID pandemic NOT being publicly available must be very frustrating.”
