Hawaii man refuses demands to surrender ‘FCKBLM’ license plate, still driving around and triggering media

A news anchor from Hawaii is getting slammed on Twitter after wasting viewers’ time with a story about a man driving around the Aloha State with a vanity license plate—“FCKBLM,” according to Breitbart.

The anchor, Tom George from KITV assumes that FCKBLM means “F**k Black Lives Matter. That might be something of an assumption on George’s part.

However, our trusty news anchor was apparently mortified by the license plate, Breitbart News reports.

Must have been a slow news day in Hawaii because the story about the custom license plate was the lead story on the 9:00 news. In fact, after KITV’s initial report, a bunch of Karen’s patrolling the highways and byways of the mean streets of Honolulu actually saw the bandito still driving around with the offensive license plate on his vehicle.

“The license plate was first spotted in August 2021, and the City and County of Hawaii told us that the vanity license plate was an ‘ill-advised oversight,’ because any requests with the letters ‘FCK’ or ‘FKN’ are automatically rejected,” KITV wrote.

According to the Customer Services Department (CSD), the owner of the vehicle was ordered to surrender the license plate last year, but aside from FCKBLM he apparently believes it’s FCKCSD.

The department says they sent three notices to the owner of the vehicle recalling the tags, however he hasn’t yet turned it over. George, quite proud of himself evidently, claims the initial recall followed the outlet’s initial story on the plate.

“CSD has placed a hold on further renewals of his vehicle registration and his registration is now expired,” the agency told KITV. “HPD [Honolulu Police Department] is able to cite the vehicle if it is being operated on the roads.”

The City of Honolulu has even developed a web page for resident Karen’s in Hawaii to report “publicly objectionable” license plates, with the promise that any such plates “will promptly get recalled upon verification that it is offensive to good taste and decency.”

Oh, and not only will the vehicle be prevented from being registered until the plate is surrendered, the Nazis will also seize the vehicle if the owner doesn’t comply.

KITV informed its viewers that despite the registration and inspection sticker being expired, the scofflaw is still cruising around Oahu. KITV reports that the HPD can initiate a traffic stop if the bad guy is found on the road, however they are not permitted to go onto his property in order to remove the tags.

Black Lives Matter has come under increasing scrutiny over the past several months over its finances, with co-founder Patrisse Cullors enriching her family and baby daddy to the tune of millions of dollars, according to tax filings with the IRS, as previously reported by Breitbart and Law Enforcement Today.

This past week, reports became known that assert the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation’s latest board chairperson filed for personal bankruptcy three times between 2005 and 2016.

The tweets by George and KITV caught the attention of a number of people, including journalist Andy Ngo, who wrote:

“Huge fallacy and error for you and your station to believe that opposition to BLM is rooted only in racism. Have you not read the reporting on what that nonprofit has done with tens of millions of dollars?”

In response to NGO’s tweet, the following was posted:

“This is true, I work for a very very large corporation and at the warehouse I work at had a huge BLM banner in our lobby I had to see everyday, it was taken down after it was discovered BLM took our company for a ride, not able to disclose where their donations went.”

Another post referenced a prior post BLM posted memorializing Cuban dictator Fidel Castro:

“This is the company you keep Tom.”

And another:

“They are grifters so why are you lying and smearing people who notices and are pointing it out?”

“All he has to say is that he’s talking about the Bureau of Land Management then people would understand.”

And finally:

“Real hard hitting news there, Tom.”

Let’s hope for the career of Tom George of KITV that the news gets a bit more consequential going forward.
