At one time, I thought Al Sharpton was the biggest idiot on television. Then came Joy Reid.

Joy Reid epitomizes “angry black woman”…on STEROIDS! It’s hard to find a more ethnocentric racist than Joy Reid. The fact that MSNBC allowed her on air for so long speaks to the Left’s racism.

Worse than Reid’s racism however is her incompetence. It seems people are finally recognizing this at MSNBC.

A few days ago we learned that MSNBC may be trying to heal its racist ways. According to reports, Joy Reid is losing her job.

Source @ Comcast: “Joy Reid will lose her 7p show in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC.” – “She does not have a show come mid Spring” – The “decision has been made, the only thing left is messaging on the move, which will be ratings”

The real question is how did Reid stay on air so long.

Between June 14-18 of last year, The ReidOut averaged 1.2 million viewers, the lowest since Reid’s primetime debut in July 2020. The show also plummeted to an all-time low among viewers in the key 25-54 demographic.

According to Nielsen data, The Reidout started the year with an average of 2,592,000 viewers. By November though, that number of viewers had dropped to 1,129,000.

Here’s how Nielsen described Reid:

The ReidOut is a weeknight television show airing on the cable network MSNBC at 7 p.m. ET. The program, which premiered in July 2020, addresses provocative political issues both inside and outside of the beltway by means of one-on-one conversations with politicians and newsmakers. Broadcasting live from Washington, the primetime lede news talk show is noted for its tenacious interviewing style and the host’s passion for the exploration of the intersection of race, justice, and culture in America; all the while delving into the day’s unfolding political headlines, and breaking down complex issues in a way that makes them digestible and accessible.

The ReidOut is hosted by Joy-Ann Lomena-Reid, a best-selling author and public speaker, who first joined MSNBC in 2011 as a contributor. Joy Reid previously hosted an afternoon show called The Reid Report and AM Joy, which aired on weekends. With The ReidOut, Reid’s third show for MSNBC, she became the first black woman to host a national primetime news show since PBS NewsHour’s Gwen Ifill died in 2016, and the first black woman to anchor a primetime network show in the history of cable television. Prior to joining MSNBC, Joy Reid worked in the local news scene of Florida and also served as press secretary for the 2008 Barack Obama campaign.

Note that almost all the discussion of Reid on Nielsen revolves around her “blackness”; oh, and her horrible ratings.

You can bet that any promotions Reid got at the network were not based on her abilities, but instead her “angry black woman” persona.

The big secret in HR is people like Reid are the reason black people can’t get good jobs. You hire a Joy Reid and you introduce cancer into a company. The worst thing you can do is to bring ethnocentric black nationalists into any organization, including an organization run by blacks.

Until companies recognize this blatant racism as cancer, these companies will not flourish.
